Dayara and Dodital is situated at north of Uttarkashi and surrounded by dense woods of oak, pine, deodar and rhododendrons. This area is known for great Himalayan views and its flower strewn meadows. Dodital is situated at an altitude of 3307 m from sea level, north of Uttarkashi and surrounded by dense woods of oak, pine, deodar and rhododendrons. The amazing lake is full of rare fishes and the Himalayan Golden Trout’s. This trek from recommended to novice and as well to experienced trekker. This trek is considered moderate with few steep climb with long descents. We will enjoy most days through dense forests with many varieties for birds and flora.

DAY 1: ARRIVAL HARIDWAR. DRIVE TO RISHIKESH
Evening arrival at Haridwar by Jansatabdi exp. 0730pm. Drive 30 min. to Rishikesh. Overnight in Hotel.

DAY 2: DRIVE TO BARSU VIA UTTARKASHI (1,830 m / 6,002 ft; 8hrs)
Drive to the road-head at Barsu via Uttarkashi. The drive takes you through the picturesque Garhwal mountains along the Bhagirathi valley. After lunch break in Uttarkashi, drive another hour and half to Barsu village. Overnight in guesthouse.

DAY 3: TREK STARTS BARSU TO DAYARA BUGYAL (3,048 m / 9,997 ft; 8km; 4-5 hrs)
After breakfast and trek through very dense forest and beautiful views of Himalayas to Dayara Bugyal. Dayara is known for its flower strewn meadows and breathtaking Himalayan views. We can see many named and unnamed mountains from any point this trail. Overnight at the campsite.

DAY 4: DAYARA BUGYAL TO DEVKUND (8 km; 4 hrs)
After breakfast we will walk on one of the most beautiful grasslands of Himalayas, enjoying excellent mountain views to Devkund. This is easy day of hiking. Afternoon we visit Surya Top to see 360 views of Himalayas. Overnight at the campsite.

DAY 5: DEV KUND TO RIVER CAMP (10 km; 5 hr)
Breakfast and a steep downhill trek through very dense forest of maple, oak and rhododendron to our campsite.

DAY 6: RIVER CAMP TO BHEWRA/MANZHI (12 km;5-6 hrs)
Breakfast and trek start with log bridge crossing on Asi Ganga. We will climb steep uphill to little further up to Behwra. We will then walk gradually to next camp at Manzhi.

DAY 7: BHEWRA/MANZHI TO DODITAL (3,307 m / 10,850 ft 5 km; 2 hrs)
After breakfast steep walk through oak and rhododendron forest to Dodital. The crystal clear lake and the surrounding dense forests create an atmosphere of peace and tranquility. Explore the surrounding areas. Overnight at the campsite.

DAY 8: DODITAL TO DARWA PASS (4,115 m) AND BACK TO DODITAL (8 km; 4 hrs)
Begin the trek ascending the Darwa Dhar Ridge a view point of the trek and the watershed of the ASI Ganga and Yamuna River valleys. We can see Banderpoonch massif and peaks towards Gangotri valley. Walk back downhill to Dodital camp. Overnight in tents.

DAY 9: DODITAL TO BHEWRA (14 km; 6-7 hrs)
After early breakfast, walk through very beautiful forest and many streams to Bhewra. We will be camping amongst tea shops and a very refreshing stream. Overnight at the campsite.10.

DAY 10: BHEWARA TO SANGAMCHATTI (07 km; 2 hrs). DRIVE TO RISHIKESH (07 hrs)
After breakfast, steep descent to Sangamchatti. Board our waiting vehicles and drive to Rishikesh. Overnight in a hotel.

DAY 11: RISHIKESH TO HARIDWAR
Early morning drop to Haridwar to catch Jansatabdi exp. (Departure: 06.20 hrs) for Delhi.
