Study reveals that the current population demographics are seeing an increasing segment of a self-sufficient young India. LADAKH

For someone who loves relics and monuments belonging to ancient periods, then Hampi, in Karnataka, will certainly dazzle you. Not only is Hampi a UNESCO World Heritage site, but it was the former capital of the Vijaynagar Empire. The Virupaksha temple at Hampi is the chief attraction as it is here that Lord Shiva married Parvati. The remains of the royal palaces, temples and buildings continue to be a crowd puller, reflecting the rich and the royal legacy of the Vijayanagar empire.
