Day 1: DRIVE FROM CHANDIGARH TO KASOL (9 hrs)

Today, you will arrive in Kasol which is situated in the Parvati Valley, and offers a splendid view of the scenic valleys and hills. After your arrival, you can visit the local sights and enjoy its food and culture. Overnight in your hotel.

Day 2: DRIVE FROM KASOL/MANIK KARAN TO TOSH (2,400 m/7,874 ft), TREK FROM TOSH TO BUDDHABAN (3,020 m/9,908 ft; 3‐4 hrs)

Begin the day with a jeep ride from Kasol to Tosh village. Enroute, after a steep ascent, you will encounter Barsheni. Begin your trek from the village of Barsheni and proceed on a gradual climb uphill to wards Buddhaban. This beautifully marked trail provides an impressive sight of the Parvati Valley’s dam. The convergence of the Tosh and Parvati rivers form this basin. Follow the furious Tosh River as it flows deep into the pine forests, till you reach beautiful springs and colossal rocks that will mark your arrival in Buddhaban. Overnight stay in the camp.

Day 3: BUDDHABAN TO O SHARAM T THACH (3,505 m/11,499 ft; 4 hrs)

After breakfast begin your ascend from Buddhaban and head out to cross the scenic tree lines. Continue walking through the charming meadows and pass by fields of rhododendron flower that will make your walk rather picturesque one! On the way to Sharam Thach, you will be trekking alongside the Tosh River and may come across waterfalls gushing down the mountain slopes. Continue your ascent through the forests till you reach Sharam Thach, which is marked by magnificent views of pine and fir trees. Trekking further , you will reach a stone bridge, upon crossing which, you will reach the campsite. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 4: TREK FROM SHARAM THACH – SHAMSHI THACH (3,800 m/12,467 ft; 5 hrs)

Today, be prepared for a steep climb over beautiful blotches of snow. The slender path here may see challenging, but once the initial climb is over, the rest of the trail will be easy. Trek alongside the musical Tosh River. From here, begin your descent to reach Shamshi Thach, which is located in the lap of the valley. The view from here is astonishing as you get to witness the majestic Tosh Glacier and the massive Kullu Makalu Peak, the descending point of the glacier. Overnight stay in tents.

Day 5: EXPLORATION DAY, TREK TO ANIMAL PASS (4,560 m/14,960 ft; 8 hrs) OR TOSH GLACIER (4,300 m/14,107 ft; 6 hrs)

Today is the most anticipated day, where you can explore the surrounding region. You can choose to trek up to Animal Pass and behold the mesmerizing views from its summit. Ascending further, you can clearly spot the Devachan, Papsura and Dharamsura peaks. If you choose to go further, you can visit a lake nearthe pass that offers a breathtaking view of the majestic Deo Tibba range. If you choose you could hike up to the nose of Tosh Glacier instead of the Animal Pass. The Tosh Glacier is located in Kuta Thach and takes around 6 hours from the campsite. After an initial ascend among boulders, you will continue walking on level ground and have the views glacial source of the Tosh River.

Day 6: SHAMSHI THACH TO BUDDHABAN (3,020 m/9,908 ft; 4 hrs)

Today’s trek comprises of a descending back to Buddhaban. After breakfast, follow the path that cut short at Tosh Village. Arriving in Buddhaban base camp, retire for the night to the tents.

Day 7: BUDDHABAN TO BARSHENI (2,200 m/7,217 ft; 3 hrs)

On the last day of the trek, you will be trekking back to Barsheni Road. And with your arrival in Barsheni,  this astounding Tosh Valley trek will come to an end.

DAY 8: DRIVE TO CHANDIGARH AIRPORT

Drive to Chandigarh airport for your flight back home.
