OPTIONAL TOURS AND ACTIVITIES IN ATHENS:Athens By night:
Your evening begins with a short panoramic drive through the City center and at the slope of the sacred hill you will be able to see, admire and photo the illuminated Acropolis.
Then a pleasant walk through the narrow picturesque streets of Plaka, the old city, will bring you at a typical Greek tavern where you will enjoy your dinner following a floor show with live music and Greek folk dances in traditional costumes.One day cruise Hydra – Poros – Aegina:
In the morning we take you by bus, from Athens to Piraeus for your embarkation to the cruise boat. At 8.15 am the ship sails for Hydra. Here you have free time for a walk or a swim. Embarkation and sail for Poros, the smallest of the three islands, separated from the Peloponnese by a narrow strait and offering a most enchanting view of Poros Town. Your time at leisure in Poros will be about 60 minutes. The lunch will be served during the voyage. Time will fly quickly….and after a two hour trip we shall arrive to our last port of call, the island of Aegina, where you have time for a swim. Optional excursion, by bus, to the finely preserved Temple of Afea Athena. Embarkation for the voyage of return to the port. Arrive to Piraeus, late in the afternoon.Dora Stratou Dance theatre:

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM THIS ADVENTURE TRIP

DAY 1: ATHENS

Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Balance of day at leisure.
Optionally Athens by night including dinner organized.

DAY 2: ATHENS – HOP-ON-HOP-OFF TOUR

After breakfast you can depart for your Hop-on-Hop-off tour in the city of Athens. The striking contrast between breathtaking monuments of a glorious past and modern elegant structures is what you will enjoy during your tour. Visit the Acropolis, the crowning beauty and glory of Ancient Athens, with its many monuments atop its rocky base, including the awesome Parthenon, the Propylea, the temple of Athena Nike and the Erechtheion, with its Porch of Maidens. Drive to the Roman Temple of Olympic Zeus, the Panathinaikon Stadium (site of the first modern Olympic Games in 1896), the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in front of the Parliament House on Constitution Square. See views of government buildings and elegant structures of the 19th century. Drive along Panepistimiou Avenue and view the Catholic Cathedral, the Academy, University and the National Library. In contrast, conclude your tour with a visit to the new Acropolis museum (closed on Mondays), a marvel of architecture with a full exhibition of the glory of Ancient Athens. Afternoon at leisure.
We propose, visiting the famous Plaka district and discovering the charms of the city. Places for shopping: Ermou street, a place full of shops, Attica mall located in the centre of Athens, The Mall (easily accessed by metro) Mc Arthur Glen Discounted village (easily accessed by metro and bus)

DAY 3: ATHENS FREE DAY

Today we propose to participate at the famous one-day cruise, where you will have the chance to visit three of the most beautiful islands of Greece Hydra – Poros – Aegina, entertain yourself on board and taste also traditional Greek food on the way.

DAY 4: CHECK OUT – PORT TRANSFER – BOAT TO SANTORINI

Early morning transfer to Piraeus port. Departure for Santorini. Arrival in the island and transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Santorini is the most popular island in Greece and may be the most popular island in the world. There are few travel destinations that combine beautiful beaches, spectacular scenery, ancient cities, amazing restaurants, some of the world’s best wine, and an active volcano.

DAY 5: SANTORINI

Free time in Santorini. Proposed activities below.

DAY 6: DEPARTURE TO ATHENS

Check out and transfer to Santorini’s port. Departure for Piraeus. Arrive in Piraeus port and transfer to Athens International airport for the departure flight.
