Accommodation at the India Surf Festival 2017 is open for bookings and it is offered at the Surfer’s Village and has many hermit huts, camping tents, Lotus Resort, Independent accommodation and camping sites. One can get accommodation in hermit huts that consist of two organic bed mattresses and basics like mosquito nets and a bamboo lantern.

A typical 3 day pass and a stay for three nights in the hermit hut is priced around INR 6,000 per person on a twin sharing basis. The cost is inclusive of the continuous shuttle facility offered between the festival venue and the Surfer’s Village. You can also stay at the camping tents that offer basic necessities like mattresses, pillows and blankets. Price for a three day pass and a stay at the tent will be INR 4,000 per person. Again the cost is inclusive of the continuous shuttle facility offered between the festival venue and the Surfer’s Village Lotus Resort is the only resort in the Puri-Konark region where one can stay in luxury which is a star hotel. The resort sits on a place where the river meets the sea. The three day pass and stay for three nights in the resort will cost a total of about INR 9,000 per person.

One can also seek independent accommodation options in Puri Konark zone. Also short time stays which includes one day passes will be INR600 and a three day pass will cost you about 1500 INR.
There is also the option to rent a tent in the Surfer’s village campground. The cost of pitching the tent and renting it comes to around INR 2,500 per person for 3 days.

Festival Location – Transportation

The India Surf Festival 2017 has put up moment control office at strategic locations along Orissa’s Puri- Konark Marine Drive beach and the Tourist Helpdesk & Traffic management centre for the India Surf Festival is located at CT Road in Puri. The Surfing Yogis confluence point is located near the festival location.

Guests will be provided with transport facilities from CT Road, Puri to the festival venue, also hired vehicles will be provided to guests as & when required. Other common transport facilities like auto-rickshaws, local buses and taxis are available in & around the festival venue.

The festival venue is also easily accessible by train as the nearest railway station is Puri which is 15kms from the venue and if one is coming by flight then the nearest domestic airport is Bhubaneswar which is at a distance of 70kms and the nearest international airport is Kolkata at a distance of 375kms from the festival venue.
