A Happy Camper – Getupandgo Fixed Departure Trek

Adventure1

Well, where do i start? Yes i really don’t know where to start,It was THAT Amazing….Chennai123!()!

The flight was well entertaining thanks to the brilliant company i had and thanks to the sweet air hostess who gave me extra milk powder! When we reached chandigarh, we started sweating almost instantly. The car ride from Chandigarh to Mandi was 7 hours, We hardly noticed how long it took because all we did was sing songs, take like a million selfies and sleep like babies. Our hotel at mandi was really good and we crashed after eating a good meal and drinking hot chocolate. Some of the signs on the road from Mundi to manali are hilarious and all those who came with me on this trek, Please add the Mundi police on Facebook as a friend XD. Manali was breathtaking and the hotel was even better than the one at Mundi. Superb food accompanied with amazing friends and a soft as wool bed really did make our day.

Our trek was definitely not easy,Climbing up hundreds of feet is no easy task, but the group i went with hardly made us feel tired as all they did was motivate each other and make each step we took memorable.Every metre we trek was definitely worth it as the view from every camp site was just WOW! Also i’ve never been taken care off so much ever before in my life. The helpers who came with us, They left us all speechless.

The amount of dedication they show,The amount they helped us,well i don’t think i have a large enough vocabulary to thank them. Raghu Bhaiyya was our Guardian Angel. Always looking after us,Helping us every moment and you won’t believe how nice they are. This one day when we were on a pretty high camp site,it started snowing,That didn’t stop the helpers to brave the snow and come to our individual tents with piping hot goodness in the form of soup. They even took back our empty bowls and My friends and i noticed that they were covered with snow,Still they didn’t complain and took care of us and pampered us. HATS OFF TO THEM AND TO RAGHU Bhaiyya. The food and take my word on this cause i’m a huge foodie was just spectacluar. One really doesn’t expect Food of high quality on a trek but wow the food was yummmy! Just imagine feasting on pasta, baked potatoes with cheesy centres, the best paneer and chicken i’ve ever eaten, peanut butter and jam sandwiches,French fries, momos just to name a few.

Kitchen staff…..I LOVE YOU ALL. Sliding down the snow, Having major snowball fights, playing cards ,singing are just few of the many amazing things on this beautifully organised trek. This was definitely the best thing i’ve done in my life and yes i don’t say one of the best but THE BEST cause it definitely was. I made tons of new friends and i savour each and every moment i spent on that trek. This was the best trip ive ever been on organized by GETUPANDGO. And no this is not a promotional stunt of any kind, This is everything my heart wishes to tell the world cause i’d love it for everyone else reading this to experience the sheer bliss that i did on this trek. I’m definitely looking forward to another trip organised by getupandgo and well, I’m a much happier person than what i was after this trek. Everything that i wrote here is the truth so i urge each and everyone of you to take some time off from your busy schedules and plan a holiday with these guys. I know many of you won’t take a 16 year old’s advice cause you think we don’t know much but trust me when i say. THIS IS IT. THIS IS WHAT AN IDEAL HOLIDAY IS. So please all of you plan something whenever you are free cause these guys are the best.

AND ON BEHALF OF EVERYONE WHO CAME ON THAT TREK, WE LOVE YOU GETUPANDGO. AA JUUGGUUU JAAA
– Just another happy camper
Yours truly,
Aditya Muralishankar
